Οur educational program is dedicated to eradicating racism and prejudice in order to create a healthier, better educated and more just school society.
This programm is a student-driven learning project based on “what was” but also “what was not” . And to see who was there ( who shows his existence like the Good Shepherds ) or was not there and shows his absence or kept pace with evil.

We have asked students to jot down their impressions of what it meant to be a Greek Jew under German occupation.

We have created a group Wordle from the student responses and posting it on the classroom wall as a reminder of these impressions as students continue working on our project.

When we have completed the Understanding of the Human rights lesson in the class, we helped students recall what they know about the inhumanity of the Holocaust. To introduce this activity, we asked students to fill out two columns: What I Know and What I Want to Know. We will return to this chart at the conclusion of the project.
The students makes use of resources from Jewish Educational websites. During this project and before the students answer the research questions we ensure that the students have built sufficient foundational knowledge about the meaning of Holocaust /Shoah and Human Rights.
