Curriculum Integration
The present quest is based on the English 6th grade Textbook, Units 3-4, under the general topic of Mythology.
Duration
The whole process is expected to last at least four teaching sessions.
Expected results
Throughout the present quest the students will be able to:
- expand their reading and listening skills
- develop both writing and speaking skills
- efficiently communicate the fruits of their investigation, using ICT skills
- work cooperatively within their team
- critically decide the content of their project
- improve creativity
Teaching Approach
This quest has the form of a project which requires the pupils to work in groups towards the presentation of a specific topic. In the framework of a cross-curricular approach, they are expected to integrate in their project skills not only in EFL, but also in ICT and Art.
The teacher's role is to facilitate this process, providing advice, support and help when needed.
