What part of the city has been declared World Heritage Site? How many conquerors have invaded and occupied Rhodes? How long? What marks have they left? Trace them in the Ancient sites and cultural sites in these websites. You may attach pictures in your PowerPoint presentation.

The second group will find information about the New city- outside the Walls of the old city
Find the remarkable buildings that keep the Italian presence alive. Attach pictures and mention the present use of them. What public administrations are hosted there? What films have made this island and its sites famous worldwide?

The third group will find information about the Parks – Nature
The Flora and the Fauna here are distinctive and impressive. Why butterflies swarm about a specific valley? What is the role of the tunnel in seven springs? How can you visit these places, if you don’t take your own car to the island?

The fourth group will suggest ideas about Family holidays
You, your brother and your sister would like to have your say about the family holidays you are going to have in Rhodes. Browse the sites mentioned in the sources to suggest places to visit. Bear in mind that you are a 17-year-old boy having just finished school, active and sporty, your brother is 15, who is interested in social life while your sister is a 7-year-old girl who doesn’t like walking a lot. Your parents would like to stroll around historical places and sights.
The fifth group will find information about Travel arrangements
Suggest means of transport during your stay there, as well, because you ‘ll travel there by plane. A group tour is a possible option.
