Through these tasks the students when finished will be able to:
- familiarise themselves with Van Gogh's work and life as well as the historical context he belonged to (impressionism, late 19th century, Holland and France)
- comprehend reading and listening biographical items in EFL related to art, self expression and mental health
- produce written texts in EFL related to the topics above
- discuss art and offer their views by providing reasonable arguments to support them
